Ezio Mauro leaves the direction of the Republic. Here comes Mario Calabresi – The Republic

Rome – Ezio Mauro will leave the direction of Republic from 14 January 2016. In its place comes Mario Calabresi, currently director of The print , daily Mauro directed dal1992 1996. He informed the Board of Directors of Gruppo L’Espresso in a statement.

“Ezio Mauro, editor of La Repubblica – is written in press – has made their decision to leave the direction of the newspaper, after having successfully led for twenty years. ” Ezio Mauro, “will remain in office until next January 14, the date of the fortieth anniversary of the head, and then continue its valuable work in journalism Group”.
