The initiative Social2Business Assolombarda now has come of age and the fifth edition arrives in the largest exhibition in the world, with the aim of promoting new business opportunities for entrepreneurs. “For the fifth consecutive year – says the president of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Assolombarda Emiliano Novelli – we chose to defy the crisis starting from the desire to do business, looking for innovation and research as a powerhouse for growth.”
The initiative aims to create opportunities for interaction and “matching” between entrepreneurs and over the years has been able to bring together more than 2000 people, in 22% of cases able to find customers , suppliers or partners for new initiatives. “In the system of Confindustria – explains Novelli – we were the first to” clear “the business within an event, developing a dream born five years ago, that is, try to jump-start the economy through the network.” The event in Expo, scheduled beginning of the year, involving almost 400 entrepreneurs, who will be involved in the day in meetings and presentations in 13 pavilions of the Expo, with the aim of creating business opportunities for international Italian companies, including some thirty start-up.
An initiative of Assolombarda (now Assolombarda Confindustria Monza and Brianza), the event has gradually expanded to other regional associations of Confindustria, Lombard and beyond, targeting as many entrepreneurs from six different regions.
China, Brazil, Poland, Israel and Colombia are some of pavilions involved in the event, with topics ranging from food to automotive, from cosmetics to tourism, crossing the key themes of Expo with skills and opportunities associated with each of the countries included in the agenda of the day.
