FCA: in September in Europe sales up 15.6% y / y against 9.8% of the market – Reuters

Equally positive results of the 500L, proved to be the best-selling car in its segment both in September and in the annual progressive: with over 66,300 registrations in 2015, 500L has achieved a market share of 22.5 percent in its segment. Full success of the family 500 the steady growth of 500X, now firmly among the top positions in its segment with more than 50,000 registrations in the year. In Italy is a leader in its segment both in September and in the annual progressive. Lastly, that 62.4 percent of the models in the 500 has been sold outside Italy, demonstrating the continuous success in Europe.
Lancia / Chrysler has sold 4,700 cars in September, for a share of 0.3 percent. In the first nine months of 2015 Lancia has sold over 48,300 vehicles for a market share of 0.4 percent. In September, registrations of Alfa Romeo in Europe were 5000 with a market share stable at 0.4 percent. In the month, sales of the brand rose 11 percent in Italy and 35.2 percent in Austria. In the first nine months of the Alfa Romeo recorded in Europe it was 43,500 for a market share of 0.4 percent. Positive even in the Year-in Italy and Austria, respectively +7.8 and +28.2 percent. In Europe, Juliet has increased sales by 6.5 percent in the month and by 0.6 percent in annual progressive.
Jeep ended September with another significant increase in sales, the twenty-third consecutive. More than 8,500 registrations in the month (+132.5 per cent) with a market share doubled to 0.6 per cent. The brand grew in all major European markets, anywhere with values ​​significantly higher than average: +251.6 percent in Italy, in Germany +44.1 percent, +148.3 percent in France, the United Kingdom + 175.2 percent and in Spain +221.2 percent. In annual progressive recordings Jeep were 65,700, an increase of 158.7 percent and the proportion doubled to 0.6 per cent. It is of course the Renegade – firmly among the top ten European in its segment – which draws the results of the brand: in the year they were registered over 40 thousand, a strong and growing.
Luxury brands and sports Ferrari and Maserati have registered a total of 687 cars in September and 5,774 in the first nine months of 2015.
