Milan – The abolition of the tax on the first house is the first point of the maneuver pending in Parliament and also of the international criticism on the government, which many would have to move elsewhere resources. Who will benefit this measure? According to an elaboration of Cgia, will save 78% of Italian families, whose residents mainly in Sardinia and Molise. The data is presented on the survey on the budgets of more than 8,000 households conducted every two years by the Bank of Italy.
Numbers in hand, the Cgia explains that in Italy 82.6 percent of the owners of the first house are reality where the head of household is a pensioner, a worker, an employee or an unemployed. The other 17.4 per cent, however, is made up of families of executives, entrepreneurs and self-employed. Made 100 total owners of first house in Italy, retirees are 43.7 percent, 17.9 employees, workers and the unemployed to 17.4 to 3.6. Other families, however, include the self-employed and managers (6.2 percent each) and entrepreneurs / freelancers to 5 percent.

At the local level, however, the only database able to photograph the distribution of households in home ownership is the Census Istat (the latest figure refers to 2011). In this analysis, census, families nationwide live in a house owned (net of nuclei that have free property I have received in usufruct), they amounted to 71.9 percent of the total. The regions instead have the highest percentage of households in owner-occupied housing are: Sardinia and Molise (both with 77.1 percent), the Friuli Venezia Giulia (76.8 percent), the Marches (76 , 1 per cent) and the Veneto (76 percent). Liguria (69.1 percent), the Valle d’Aosta (65.6 per cent) and Campania (61.9 percent) are the areas where the incidence of the owners is less.
