Federalimentare: “Ready to talk about salary,”
a tough note Federalimentare. “Completely incomprehensible.” This is the opinion of the Vice President of Federalimentare Leonardo Colavita on abandoning the negotiating table by the unions. “An abandonment instrumental – continues Colavita – that goes in the opposite direction compared to the attitude of constructive Federalimentare that showed itself ready to enter the decisive phase of confrontation and deepen nodes contract still to be resolved, including the salary.”
The crux of collective redundancies
The first node is the increase in payroll. The unions demanded 150 euro in four years. “Federalimentare did not even make a counter proposal,” laments the general secretary of the CGIL Flai, Stefania Crogi. According to Luigi Sbarra, National Commissioner Fai Cisl and CISL confederal secretary, the break was “inevitable”. Other nodes: the union’s request to waive the contract to the Jobs Act that will set new standards in the management of collective redundancies. An instance that Federalimentare considers ironically the “icing on the cake” in the attitude of the trade unions. Not only, the association noted that the food industries will never renounce Jobs Act. In general, Fai, and Flai Uila judge unacceptable Federalimentare claim to want a deal based solely on overall wage penalty from the block of seniority and the elimination of production bonuses frozen.
