Between October and November it rose by 0, 7% of the production of the construction industry in the EU, and by 0.8% in the euro area. According to Eurostat data released today in the penultimate month of 2015, the construction sector recorded a real boom in Slovenia (+ 15.5%) recorded the strongest contraction in Slovakia (-4.9%). Rise in the Italian market (+ 2.9%), Germany (+ 1.6%), below the European average, France (+0.2%).

Istat records for Italy a rise in the index of production in construction by 3.8% in November 2015 compared to the previous year is the largest since the crisis, more than seven years ago. Istat said it was necessary to go back in February 2008 to find a higher value (4.2%). This is the first plus sign after a barrage of negative signs began in February 2011. During the month of November, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction recorded, compared to the previous month, a significant increase of 2.9%. On average for the quarter from September to November 2015, the index rose by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter. The index adjusted for calendar effects in November 2015 increased by 3.8% on-year (working days were 21 against 20 November 2014).
