VW effect, the US extend their inquiries on other car brands – TGCOM

– The US authorities have extended the investigation diesel emissions matches with Volkswagen to other brands, to determine whether or not they have adopted the same deceptive behavior in the United States. According to the Financial Times, which reported the news, that the investigation would cover about twenty models of BMW, Chrysler, General Motors, Land Rover and Mercedes Benz.

Antitrust investigation of Volkswagen – The Competition Authority and the Market has decided to open an investigation, with the possibility of unfair commercial practices , towards the Volkswagen and its subsidiary for the distribution of vehicles of the Group in Italy. Meanwhile Adusbef and Federconsumatori presented to the top 10 Italian prosecutors exposed assuming the crime of commercial fraud and scam against the automaker.
