The Gup of the Milan court acquitted Alessandra Clemente Paolo Scaroni, former CEO of Eni, from ‘charges of corruption in international proceedings relating to the alleged payment of 198 million Euros in bribes in Algeria to get Saipem (owned by Eni) contracts to 8 billion Euros. She was acquitted even now Eni, Saipem and go to trial. The company had been investigated by the law 231/2001 on the administrative liability of companies.
