MILAN, June 22 (Reuters) – Inwit, subsidiary Telecom Italy, confirms that it intends to participate in the industry consolidation, but sees no particular synergies between the towers of television and those of telecommunications.
He said the CEO, Oscar Cicchetti, during the press conference to debut on the stock exchange of Inwit.
“We faced a couple of years in which there could be a consolidation of the sector and has the features Inwit to participate,” said Cicchetti.
“We do not believe that there are many synergies between broadcast towers and those of telecommunication towers … We do,” responded then to people asking if Inwit could be also interested in non telecom towers.
In recent days the AD Telecom Itralia, Marco Patuano, talking about consolidation, he said the goal of Inwit were towers of telecommunications but has not ruled out looking to other growth opportunities, including Rai Way.
