Fly over 20 years the local tax authorities, Rome is the most ill-treated the city – The Messenger

The weight of local taxes has grown a bit ‘everywhere. But in certain areas of the country it grew more than anywhere else: according to a study by Confcommercio is Rome to lead the ranking of the most harass cities, which sees instead the last place Trento. The analysis starts from 1995, when the central taxes were worth a total of 228.4 billion and those premises 29.7. The latter in 2007 had already splattered over 100 billion, roughly the same level at which you will find in 2015. In twenty years, the nominal increase (ie in absolute terms and not first inflation) was 248.8 percent for taxes managed by the regions, provinces and municipalities and “only” 72.2 percent for those who are directly in the hands of the state.

in relation to GDP the local taxation incidence has doubled passing from 3 to 6.3 percent, while state taxes are almost remained stable: in practice the increase in the tax burden by more than three points since 1995, it has matured almost everything in the peripheral area. But things are not all over Italy go the same way. A taxpayer with taxable IRAP amounting to 50 thousand euro and taxable personal income tax of the same amount (a self-employed or a small business owner) if he lives and works in Rome pays 2,255 euro in more than a colleague of Trento. The ranking of the tax burden of these two taxes (about 21 cities considered sees second Campobasso, then Naples, Catanzaro and Palermo. They weigh naturally high additional income tax, which at the regional level are related to health deficit. Among the centers where you pay relatively little even Trieste, Florence, Aosta, Cagliari and Bolzano.
