Work, Use: +223000 places, unemployment down ‘to 5.4% – ANSA.it

The United States has created 223,000 jobs in April. Unemployment and ‘fell to 5.4%. The figure ‘in line with analysts’ expectations.

The decline in the unemployment rate reflects positive factors such as the increase in the participation rate in the labor market, rose to 62.8% from 62, 7% in March. It comes close to the target that the Fed considers full employment, ie a rate of between 5 and 5.2%. The growth of salaries in April and ‘remained limited, with an increase in the wage rate of 0.1% compared to March and by 2.2% compared to April 2014. The average weekly hours worked and’ 34.5. The Labor Department revised downward the figure for March, when they were created 85,000 jobs, increasing more ‘low in 2012.

The unemployment rate in the US in April and’ dropped 5.4%, its lowest since May 2008, before the financial crisis and of the inauguration of President Barack Obama.
