Saipem, South Stream gas pipeline called recovery jobs for Black Sea – Reuters Italy

MILAN, May 8 (Reuters) – South Stream Transport asked Saipem to resume work on the construction of the offshore pipeline in the Black Sea.

In recent days Saipem that was ready to work on Turkish Stream pipeline when there would be a request from the customer, the Russian Gazprom that had suspended the contract for the construction of a gas pipeline South Stream in December last year.

The new infrastructure should land on the Turkish coast and no longer in Bulgaria but having a first section of more than 600 km equal to that of South Stream.
