Die Welt against Renzi. For the daily newspaper produced by the German conservative “ignore the Eu rules”, calls for stop to maneuver and sanctions – The Huffington Post

“Renzi challenges Brussels” is the title of an article in the internal page of the German daily Die Welt stresses: “the premier wants to pass a constitutional reform, and ignore the rules on the deficit”of the Eu.

In the correspondence from Brussels, in the economy section, reference is made to the statements made by Matteo Renzi at the european Council last week, as he assured that the operation will not change. “The open proclamation of not wanting to follow the european law is a remarkable development. In the criteria of the stability of the euro is clearly defined that Brussels has the right to declare unlawful the plans of the national budget, and even to impose sanctions”. The daily conservative stresses that “Renzi is under enormous pressure at the level of domestic politics” to the question of the constitutional referendum.

Die Welt reports the statement of Herbert Reul, the parent company, the Cdu/Csu in the european Parliament which is said to be “stunned” by the words of Renzi, and stresses that it can not pass the message that “everyone can do as he pleases” in Europe. “I am curious to understand if Jean-Claude Juncker presides over a european Commission that is the guardian of the treaties, or wants to be remembered as the one under which the violations of the treaties remain without sanctions”. Rebecca Harms, leader of the Green group in Strasbourg, speaks of “approach is irresponsible,” because a unilateral approach to the european issues “is always wrong”.
